Hey hey y’all!!!
Coming to you today with a hack that will hopefully save you some cash! One thing I have learned over the years is that we can most certainly save some money on the ridiculous over priced sneakers! Yep. I don’t know why they are so expensive- but tennis shoes are so out of control these days and I just can’t bring myself to spend $100 on a pair of shoes that I am going to get dirty or maybe not wear often enough. BUT. I love me some cute sneakers – especially the fun colors 💗. Case and point- “Shane” got me some pink adidas for v day and I love them. So I want to share my hack – I buy kids shoes!!
Now don’t close this post. Hear me out! I don’t have small feet y’all. I wear a 9, 8.5 sometimes. And right now I am wearing a girls 6.5 with room to spare! Did you know this: (thanks Google 😉)…
Your Shoe Size – 2 = Your Youth Size. To convert your women’s size to a youth size, simply subtract 2 sizes. For example, a women’s size 7 shoe is equivalent to a big kids‘ size 5 shoe.
Yep. It’s true. And let me tell you another thing- Adidas runs big! Like you could even go down at least a half size.
Now you might not save a ton always – but my new ones were only $40 compared to similar women’s shoes at $100!
So I challenge you to expand your search and treat yourself to a cute new pair of tennies from the girls section – I found a bunch of cute ones and good deals in this Amazon list for y’all to check out. I found mine in store at Academy – you can always do that too ☺️. Let me know if you use this hack and tag me in your “shoefie” posts ☺️☺️!
Omg! Genius! Thank you!
I always do this! All of my Tom’s are kids. I did hear from a trainer to buy adult size for running. The padding isn’t enough for adult weight. I don’t run so this isn’t a problem!
